Alberta Health Care

Alberta Health Care covers the cost of eye exams for children and youths up to 18 years old, as well as adults aged 65 and over. Medically-necessary visits such as eye emergencies are covered for all age groups. Fees may apply for additional tests not covered by Alberta Health care; we will advise you accordingly. These visits do not cover an eyeglass prescription.
